The Belgian Chocolate Way

"The Belgian Chocolate Way" groups together enthusiasts working in different areas: museums, collectors, researchers, event organisers, bloggers, nutritionists and of course Belgian chocolate-makers. They are all passionate about chocolate and united in their aim of promoting good quality chocolate.

In addition to this, the aim of the association is to take part in a more wide-spread project, that is the European cultural itinerary: the European Chocolate Way.
The Belgian Chocolate Way is a member of this European project.

La FonderieThe Brussels Museum of Industry and Labour was officially recognized in early 2014 by the Wallonia-Brussels Federation. Visitors to the museum can see a permanent exhibition of four essential industrial sectors that have created or transformed products that were "Made in Brussels". The metal industry, which is especially important as the Foundry was established on the site of the Bronze Company; wood, which is an essential element for the construction and development of a city; the textile industry, historically one of the most important sectors in Brussels and finally the food industry that fed the ever-growing population.

In collaboration with Choco-Story Brussels, the Foundry has organised an excursion called "Chocolate; the black gold of Brussels" available on reservation for groups or on dates fixed by the Foundry for individual visits.
